Avalanche Summary
Generally safe avalanche conditions exist. You are more likely to get injured from hitting a rock or log in the unusually shallow snowpack than by triggering an avalanche. In very steep terrain, you might be able to trigger a small loose avalanche that could be dangerous if you are above a terrain trap, such as a creek or a cliff.
