The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. DANGEROUS soft slabs one to three feet in depth exist on steep wind loaded aspects. These slabs could release naturally or be triggered by riders or skiers, especially in steep wind loaded starting zones . Avoid steep banks, gullies and avalanche prone terrain.
