Avalanche Activity

Thus far only isolated small wet avalanches are possible as a consequence of the precipitation.

As a consequence of warming during the day only isolated small moist and wet avalanches are possible above approximately 1800 m. This applies in particular on steep sunny slopes.

Snowpack Structure

15 cm of snow fell in the last three days above approximately 1600 m. The rain gave rise to rapid and thorough wetting of the snowpack over a wide area in particular in all regions below approximately 1600 m.
