Forecast Snow Stability: Isolated pockets of fresh windslab are expected to build during the day on East to South aspects above 1000 metres. Areas affected will be wind-sheltered, steep and convex terrain such as corrie rims and gully tops. These accumulations are expected to be small and generally avoidable. Elsewhere the remaining snowpack will continue to be well bonded and stable throughout. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Moderate South-Westerly winds will veer and increase in strength to strong North-Westerlies during Thursday. Light snow showers are expected during the day. The freezing level will remain above the summits overnight, lowering to around 1000 metres on Thursday. Observed Weather Influences: Strong Southerly wind. Light drizzle in cloud. The freezing level was above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: Thaw conditions continue and the remaining snowpack is well bonded and stable throughout. Snow cover is patchy and limited to North-West through North to East aspects above 1000 metres in areas such as corrie headwalls, ridge flanks and gully lines. The avalanche hazard is Low.
