From the early morning in particular below approximately 3000 m there will be a gradual increase in the danger of moist avalanches. A latent danger of ground avalanches exists, in particular on very steep grassy slopes. Avalanches can in some places be released in the old snowpack, mostly by large additional loads. These avalanche prone locations are rare but are difficult to recognise.

In some localities some new snow above approximately 2500 m: This snow will be deposited on the unfavourable surface of an old snowpack in particular on very steep sunny slopes below approximately 3000 m. The conditions are spring-like. The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust only at high altitudes and will already be soft in the early morning. Less snow than usual is lying. At low and intermediate altitudes from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.

In some localities intensive snowfall above approximately 2000 m: The danger of dry and moist avalanches will increase during the day.
