Forecast Snow Stability: Moderately bonded windslab will accumulate throughout the day in steep wind sheltered locations on North through East to South-East aspects above 900 metres. Areas most affected will be coire rims, scarp slopes and gully tops, especially where deposits gain depth. Out-with these locations a cosmetic covering of snow will lie on bare ground. Wind exposed slopes will be extensively scoured. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: Precipitation falling as snow above 500 to 700 metres heaviest during the morning. Winds mainly strong South-Westerly veering Westerly by the end of the day. The freezing level will gradually rise to around 750 metres by midday, before lowering to glen level later. Observed Weather Influences: Light snow showers fell to glen level for the duration of the day. Winds were moderate to strong and from a West-North-Westerly direction. ObservedSnowStability: Soft shallow accumulations were deposited throughout the day. These remained isolated to steep wind sheltered locations of a North-East to South-East aspect above 950 metres. Outwith these areas a light dusting of snow lies on bare ground. The avalanche hazard is Low.
