Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will remain generally well bonded and stable throughout with widespread surface softening through the day, especially on sunny aspects. Firmer snow on steep shaded North-West and North aspects at higher elevations. Patchy snow distribution generally and many hillsides will be bare. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Dry throughout with good sunny spells. It will remain mild with the freezing level staying well above the highest summits. Moderate to fresh South-East winds will gradually veer South-West by the end of the forecast period. Observed Weather Influences: Dry throughout with long sunny periods, but hazy with some higher cloud at times. Moderate South-East wind.
