In sintesi

The general avalanche hazard will increase from LOW to MODERATE at all elevations as increasing temperatures and sunlight soften the snow surface. This weakening of the snowpack at the mid and upper elevations will result in the potential for human triggered soft slabs on Northerly aspects and wet slabs on Southerly aspects up to 18 in depth that lie upon older hard crusts. At low elevations wet slides may become possible on steep, rocky, sunlit slopes this afternoon. Yesterday a wet slab was triggered on Rendezvous Peak, South of the JHMR, and on Thursday a soft slab was triggerd near Teewinot Mountain in GTNP. Both avalanches occured at 2pm during the warmest part of the day.
