Dangerous avalanche conditions exist. The most dangerous slopes are where new snow and wind combine to overload deeper weak layers on northwest through north to east-facing slopes. Use extra caution or avoid traveling on steep slopes with over a foot of new or recently drifted snow. With an abundance of weak snow layers lurking about, it may be easy to trigger an avalanche, or slopes will fail naturally. Create wide safety margins and plan good routes that keep you well clear of overhead hazards.
