Avalanche Activity

As the day progresses as a consequence of the precipitation there will be only a slight increase in the avalanche danger.

Wet small and medium sized avalanches are possible as the day progresses. Single snow sport participants can release avalanches, including medium-sized ones. The old snowpack will become generally moist.

Snowpack Structure

The surface of the snowpack will soften during the day. This applies in particular below approximately 2200 m.
