Avalanche Activity

Wet and gliding snow require caution.

Individual small moist avalanches are possible above approximately 1900 m. Especially gullies and bowls are unfavourable. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the icy crust.

Snowpack Structure

Above approximately 1900 m a little snow is lying. The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. The snowpack remains moist in all altitude zones. On Monday it will be mostly sunny. Outgoing longwave radiation during the night will be quite good. These conditions will cause a strengthening of the snowpack also at high altitude.
