Snow and Weather

Current Conditions: The storm that moved through on Friday produced a bit more snow than I originally anticipated. I love it when that happens!! The Fairview Canyon/Lakes received about what I was expecting, in the 3 to 5 inch range. However, the central Skyline did much better with a solid foot of new snow recorded in Ephraim Canyon. Farther south, 12 mile canyon picked up 9 inches. The wind was pretty light during the day on Friday but did increase in speeds overnight blowing from the west.

Mountain Weather: We'll see clouds and maybe periods of light snowfall lingering today. High temperatures will only be in the mid teens. We'll have light wind from the north northwest. Skies clear up on Sunday. The next storm systems advertised are about a week away.
