In sintesi
At the higher elevations the snowpack is mostly stable and avalanches are unlikely. Due to shallow snow depths, avalanches hazards are not a concern below an elevation of 8,500 feet.
Avalanche Discussion
A cold front dropping down from the north will bring light snow to the region overnight before tapering off in the morning. Overnight lows in the mountains will be in the mid-teens before rising to near 20 during the day. Westerly ridgetop winds will veer to the north at 5 to 15 miles per hour. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Low on Saturday above 8,500 feet. With light winds overnight and modest snowfall, avalanche activity will remain unlikely. Below 8,500 feet, snow depths are insufficient for avalanche activity.
