In sintesi

The majority of the terrain on the Manti Skyline has a MODERATE avalanche danger rating today. A CONSIDERABLE avalanche danger rating still exists on upper elevation very steep north through east facing slopes.

While chances are becoming less likely, you still could trigger a dangerous avalanche that breaks into older, weak sugary loose snow.

Your main concern is the chance for triggering an avalanche that breaks deeper into loose sugary faceted snow. The chances become less each day. However, the severity of the avalanche stays the same. This is what we call a "low frequency – high consequence" event. The most likely places to find trouble are in the upper elevation north through east facing terrain. Slopes that are especially suspect our area areas where wind has transported and deposited snow.
