Current Snowpack Conditions
Warmer temperatures have resulted in a well-settled snowpack, and the last storm snow will have settled and bonded well. Recent wind slab danger above 2000m will have been resolved by Friday and Saturday's high freezing level. The snow on sunny aspects may be sensitive to sun and warm temperatures.
Mountain Weather
Fine. Freezing level rising from 600m to 1300m by the afternoon.
Sliding Danger
The snow will be hard in places. Ice axe and crampons will need to be carried for mountain travel.
