Avalanche Discussion
( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Periods of mountain snow showers with light accumulations are expected through Friday. Temperatures are to be cooler with temperatures at higher elevations rising from the mid teens to low twenties during the day. North winds overnight are to become northwest during the day and have averages of five to fifteen miles per hour. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Low if forecast temperatures are realized and avalanches will be unlikely except in isolated pockets. If temperatures do rise significantly higher than is currently expected the avalanche hazard will increase and wet slides may become possible in warm sunlit areas.
