The General Avalanche Hazard is MODERATE today. Soft slabs from last week's storm up to three feet in depth lie upon slick crusts and weak layers of faceted snow. These slabs could be triggered by backcountry users today on steep, wind loaded slopes. The trigger may be the second or later traveller on a slope.
