In sintesi

Triggering  avalanches in recent storm snow will be possible on Thursday. Steep, convex, and unsupported slopes are the  types of places where it is more likely to happen. There is a lot of terrain out there with good snow, when it doubt give the extreme terrain one more day.

This problem is trending toward going away. However, I am keeping it on the problem list for another day because of the mid storm instability about 25 - 30 cm below the surface. There is still noticeably weaker snow down there. Although storm slabs are becoming increasingly stubborn to trigger, there are a few pieces of terrain that would still give me pause. Namely, big steep convex rolls or unsupported terrain above cliffs.

Avalanche Discussion

I am not including wet loose avalanches in the problem list, but keep an eye on changing conditions if the sun begins cooking steep solar aspects. Places like the Broken Top bowl collect a lot sun even if the sun comes out for a short while. If you see roller balls, pinwheels, or observe wet loose avalanche activity, be cautious on steep slopes in the direct sun.
