In sintesi

It will be possible to trigger wet snow avalanches on Friday at all elevations, especially on slopes that are in the direct sun. Most wet snow avalanches will be small, but small avalanches can lead to long falls in sustained steep terrain. Use timing and aspect choice to minimize exposure to wet snow avalanches especially if you plan to travel in steep terrain. Natural cornice breaks will also be possible; being hit by a cornice is easy to avoid by staying out from under them.

With overnight temperatures below freezing and a clear sky, the snowpack will get a solid refreeze. It will take time for the snow surface to soften up and it may not soften up much at all. Still, keep wet loose avalanches in mind especially if you are travelling on steep slopes in the direct sun during the warmest times of the day. These will be more likely on wind protected steep slopes in the direct sun and at the lowest elevations in the forecast zone where the temperature may get into the mid 50's. Most wet loose avalanches will be small, but remember that even small avalanches can have big consequence in steep terrain. Small avalanches can knock you off your stance and push you downslope.

Sun and warm temperatures tend to weaken cornices. Avoid being under cornices especially during the warmest times of the day.

Recent cornice fall debris. Some of the cornice chunks have been large. Stay out from under cornices.
