Avalanche Activity

In high Alpine regions only a little snow is lying. The avalanche prone locations are to be found especially in steep terrain at high altitude and in the vicinity of peaks.

In particular on steep slopes and in the vicinity of peaks avalanches are possible especially at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions. They are only small and can mostly be released by large loads. In the east 0 to 2 cm of snow will fall.

Snowpack Structure

In high Alpine regions only a little snow is lying. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on very steep shady slopes at high altitude and in the vicinity of peaks.
