Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected. The snowpack will remain well bonded and stable throughout. Snow patches are limited to the highest summit slopes, steep corrie rims and gullies on North through East to South-East aspects above 800 meters and will be firm and icy. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Light North-Easterly winds backing North-Westerly during the afternoon. No precipitation is expected. The freezing level is expected to lower to around 700 meters later in the day. Observed Weather Influences: A dry, clear and sunny day with light North-Easterly winds. The temperature at Munro height was around -3. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining snow is well bonded and stable throughout. Snow patches are limited to the highest summit slopes, corrie rims and gullies on North through East to South-East aspects above 800 metres. The avalanche hazard is Low.
