Avalanche Activity

Above approximately 1800 m small moist and wet avalanches are possible.

Until the temperature falls individual small moist and wet avalanches are possible above approximately 1800 m. Especially gullies and bowls are unfavourable.

Snowpack Structure

Below approximately 1800 m hardly any snow is lying. Above approximately 1800 m a little snow is lying. The old snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. The snowpack will be generally well bonded. Until Wednesday the weather will be mild. These weather conditions will give rise to gradual moistening of the snowpack. These conditions will cause a slight weakening of the snow drift accumulations also at high altitude.
