Forecast Snow Stability: Localised unstable windslab will continue to gain depth mostly in wind sheltered locations on North-East to South-East aspects above 900 metres. Areas most affected will be coire rims, gully tops and steep convexities. Isolated deposits will also be present on North and South aspects, due to cross loading. Wind exposed slopes will be scoured, firm, icy and generally stable. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: Westerly winds will be storm force overnight and during the morning, decreasing to gale force during the afternoon. The freezing level will be around 700 metres with overnight snow showers easing by mid morning. The freezing level was around 600 metres ObservedSnowStability: Localised accumulations of unstable windslab are gaining depth and becoming more widespread on North-East to South-East aspects above 900 metres. Areas most affected are wind sheltered slopes such as coire rims, gully tops and steep convexities. Isolated deposits are also present on North and South aspects, due to cross loading. Any remaining snow patches and wind exposed slopes are firm, icy and stable. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
