Avalanche Activity

The snowpack will be quite stable.

Significant decrease in danger of gliding avalanches and moist snow slides as the temperature drops. The more recent wind slabs have bonded well with the old snowpack in all aspects. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack will be quite stable. Below approximately 1700 m only a little snow is lying.

Tendency

Decrease in danger of moist avalanches as the temperature drops.
