Forecast Snow Stability: Wet snow instabilities will continue to be present on steep South-West through West to North-East aspects, mainly between 600 and 1000 metres. Above this altitude fresh snow deposits are not expected to be significant. The old windslab continues to slowly consolidate but moderately bonded layers linger at depth above 1000 metres on the same aspects. Cornices will be weak and prone to collapse. Elsewhere stability will be generally good. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: Fresh South-South-East winds will back South-Easterly overnight. Outbreaks of rain, falling as sleet and snow above 1000 metres. The Freezing level will be around 1000 metres. Observed Weather Influences: Showery rain persisted overnight and through the day, falling initially as sleet and then rain to the highest summits, heaviest in the morning. Strong Easterly winds backed Southerly through the day. The freezing level was above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The snow pack has become wet at all levels. Stability is generally good, however surface wet snow instabilities are present above 600 metres, mainly on steep South-West through West to North-East aspects. Additionally, above 900 metres moderately bonded layers linger at depth within the old windslab. Cornices are heavy and prone to collapse. Elsewhere the snowpack continues to slowly thaw and consolidate. The avalanche hazard is Considerable.
