Avalanche Activity

Weak layers in the old snowpack necessitate caution and restraint. Gliding avalanches can also occur.

Dry avalanches can be released in deeper layers also. Gliding avalanches can also occur at any time.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack will be moist at low altitude. Precarious weak layers exist in the old snowpack in particular on steep northwest, north and northeast facing slopes.
