In sintesi

As new snow falls, avalanche danger will increase throughout the day.  Shallow avalanches will be possible by evening on North and East slopes that the wind has blown snow onto.  Be particularly careful in consequential terrain, where even a small avalanche could push you off cliffs or into gullies.

Wind Slab avalanches occur when the wind blows new snow onto leeward slopes.  On Saturday, a South and Southwest wind will blow snow onto North and Northeast slopes.  The wind packs this snow into a cohesive slab which can avalanche.  These avalanches can be 3-5 times as deep as the snow that has fallen in sheltered meadows and glades.  With only 2 inches in the forecast, I'm not expecting most avalanches to be large enough to bury or injure a rider unless terrain traps like cliffs or gullies are present.
