Increasingly strong NW winds may drift low-density snow into shallow wind slabs at higher elevations. These should be on your radar if you travel into the alpine. Any slabs should remain small, but with weaker snow they could be reactive to human triggering. Look for active wind transport and wind textured surfaces to clue you in. Steer around very steep slopes that appear to be loading.
