Avalanche Summary
Slopes that are continuously steep with lots of rocks are where you are most likely to trigger a wet avalanche. If melt-freeze crusts break down and you are failing through the snowpack, head to lower-angle slopes or call it a day.
Starting and ending your day early is a good strategy to reduce your risk of avalanches.
