In sintesi
The general avalanche hazard is CONSIDERABLE today. Unstable soft surface slabs up to three feet in depth exist. These slabs could be triggered today on steep wind loaded aspects and have the potential to pull out deeper layers of faceted snow. These slabs will become more sensitive to triggers as new snow adds additional weight to the snowpack.
