( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )A large upper level low-pressure system will continue spinning over central Wyoming this evening with alternating bands of moist and dry air, bringing intermittent periods of snow and rain showers to the area. A drying trend will continue tonight as the system moves slowly east. A weak high pressure will build over the area late tonight and into tomorrow resulting in decreasing clouds and warmer temperatures. Overnight lows will be near 20 in the mountains, and mid 20s in the valley, before rising into the upper 30s in the mountains, and warm to the upper 40s in the valley. Ridge top winds will be in the teens out of the Northwest.AVALANCHE HAZARD FORECAST FOR THE TETON, TOGWOTEE PASS, AND SOUTHWEST TRAILS AREAS:Tomorrow morning the general avalanche hazard is expected to be MODERATE at the upper elevation, and LOW below 9,000 feet, rising to MODERATE at all elevations with daily warming. As the day progresses, this trend will start at the lower elevations, rise through mid elevation, and impact the upper elevation on sunlit aspects.
