Avalanche conditions are generally safe. Above-freezing temperatures mean you might trigger small avalanches in wet, cohesionless snow. Avoid steep slopes where you see rollerballs or if you're sinking up to your ankles in wet snow.
You might be able to trigger a small avalanche in isolated drifts of snow just below ridges or along gullies at upper elevations. Go around any drifted pillows of snow you find on steep slopes.
Remember, even small avalanches can be deadly if they push you into a terrain trap. Use extra caution if you're traveling in extreme terrain or above deep gullies.
