In sintesi

Temperatures in the mountains dropped into the upper 30's overnight. These values are a few degrees warmer than they were yesterday morning and likely limited crust development. The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Areas of unstable snow exist. Wet loose and wet slab avalanches could be human triggered on very steep slopes.

Avalanche Discussion

Showers this evening will be replaced by widespread snow later tonight. Three to six inches of wet snow may accumulate at mid and upper elevations by Friday morning then damp snow will continue into the day. Morning lows will be in the upper twenties and warm little Friday. Winds will be westerly along the peaks at 25 miles per hour.Cold temperatures and heavy snow will trap heat in the snowpack and the chance of slides will be very dependent on rain level. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be Low at upper elevations and Moderate at low elevations Friday.
