Forecast Snow Stability: The remaining moist and patchy snowpack will remain stable in most locations. The greatest snow cover will be found on steep coire headwalls, and open slopes of a North-East through East to South aspect above 900 metres. At lower elevations the cover will consist of isolated patches, which will continue to slowly diminish. Rock fall remains a threat from steep coire headwalls. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Mild conditions will continue with the freezing level staying well above the summits. Precipitation is expected through much of the period. This will fall as light rain with the possibility of summit sleet late in the day. Winds will be gale to storm force South-Westerly overnight. By dawn winds are expected to be light becoming variable in direction. Observed Weather Influences: A generally dry day with some isolated light showers in the morning. South-westerly winds were generally gale force in strength. The freezing level remained well above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: What remains of the snow pack is moist and stable in most locations, being subject to the slow thaw. The greatest cover is found on steep coire headwalls, and open slopes of a North-East through East to South aspect above 900 metres. Patches remain below this elevation in hollows and stream beds. Outwith these areas bare, snow free ground is abundant. The avalanche hazard is Low.
