Forecast Snow Stability: Good stability. A covering of thin fresh snow anticipated in many places above 900m during the morning. Some minor isolated accumulations of soft new windslab are possible on a few steep North to East aspects above 950m. Exposed old snowpack will be firm or hard and remain well bonded in most locations. The avalanche hazard will be Low

Forecast Weather Influences: An hour or two of light snow during the morning. West South West winds easing to light during snowfall. Progressively cooler. Observed Weather Influences: Cool temperatures with a little early drizzle. ObservedSnowStability: Good overall stability. A moist surface layer overlies a mature well bonded snowpack. Debris noted from minor recent full depth avalanches emanating from low on the very steep crags of the Post Face of Coire Ardair. The avalanche hazard is Low
