Avalanche Activity

In some localities increase in danger of wet and gliding avalanches as a consequence of warming during the day.

As a consequence of warming during the day mostly small moist and wet avalanches are possible above approximately 1700 m. Mostly small gliding avalanches are possible on very steep grassy slopes.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack will be stable. Towards its surface, the snowpack is hard and its surface has a melt-freeze crust. The surface of the snowpack will soften during the day. Below approximately 1500 m only a little snow is lying.
