Avalanche Activity

Small wet-snow slides possible

Wet loose-snow avalanches can trigger naturally, particularly on extremely steep slopes. Avalanches will be mostly small-sized.

Snowpack Structure

South-facing slopes are frequently bare of snow. Where there’s a snowpack on the ground, it’s thoroughly wet.

Weather Forecast

Limited visibility right from the start, shower tendency in the afternoon, also thunderstorms are possible. Snowfall level in showers at about 2500m. Temperature at 2000m: 1 to 5 degrees; at 3000m: -2 degrees. Light to moderate southeasterly winds at high altitudes, in the vicinity of showers intensifying in gusts.

The slopes will continue to become bare of snow.
