In sintesi

New snow and wind will increase the avalanche danger. In the high mountains, there are persistent weak layers in the snowpack that can be affected by the precipitation. The most precipitation, and the greatest increase in avalanche danger, is expected in the area around Haukelifjell.

Avalanche Activity

New snow and wind will increase the avalanche danger. In the high mountains, there are persistent weak layers in the snowpack that can be affected by the precipitation. The most precipitation, and the greatest increase in avalanche danger, is expected in the area around Haukelifjell.

Tendency

It will still be easy to trigger avalanches in areas with fresh wind‑deposited snow. There are also persistent weak layers in the snowpack that can produce large avalanches.
