NC for 9.12. Generally becoming more stable. Weaknesses persist in deep windslab on W,NW,N,NE,E aspects abv 900m. Hazard Moderate

Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will continue to consolidate and stabilise in the mild conditions. However, weaknesses will continue to persist in the deeper deposits which mostly lie in wind sheltered lee slopes above 900m on West through North to East aspects. Coire rims, back walls, gully tops and crag aprons being most affected. Any remaining cornices will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Little change is expected. The Freezing level will be around 12-1400m. Winds will be fresh South-Easterly. Precipitation will fall as sleet and drizzle on the highest summits rain or drizzle below. Observed Weather Influences: A day of strong Southerly winds throughout. Freezing level mostly above the summits. Sleet and snow above 1000m rain and drizzle below. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack has become moist on all aspects and to summit levels with snow loss below 750m. The Snowpack has consolidated and is generally stable below 900m on all aspects. Above 900m weaknesses persist where the recent windslab accumulations have formed deep deposits on steep wind sheltered locations on West through North to Easterly aspects. Coire rims, gully tops and crag aprons most affected. remaining cornices are unstable. The avalanche hazard is Considerable
