In the last few days visible wind slabs formed in particular above approximately 2700 m. These can in some places be released by small loads, but they can reach medium size, in particular on very steep slopes adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas at intermediate and high altitudes. Especially on very steep slopes and adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas mostly small natural dry avalanches are possible. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface.

In some localities 10 to 20 cm of snow has fallen above approximately 2000 m. The new snow of the last few days has bonded quite well with the old snowpack in all aspects. The old snowpack is largely stable and its surface has a crust that is strong in many cases. Less snow than usual is lying. The snowpack will be generally subject to considerable local variations. Faceted weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack.

In extremely steep terrain more natural dry avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small.
