Turning firm through the evening before softening during the day, especially where exposed to direct sunlight. Greatest snow amounts will be found on high plateaus and high North-West through North to East facing coires. Gradual snow loss at lower elevations. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: Remaining dry and mild, with the freezing level around 1200 metres. Light variable winds becoming moderate from the South during the afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: A dry and mild day with long sunny spells. Light winds. The snowpack was firm at first slowly softening during the day with the exception of high, shady locations where it remains firmer.
