In sintesi

At the upper elevations isolated pockets of soft slab six to 12 inches deep lie upon crusty old snow surfaces. Some potential may persist for humans who venture into steep terrain with wind drifted snow to trigger a shallow slab avalanche. Avalanches are unlikely at the mid elevations. Mostly bare ground exist at the lower elevations.

Avalanche Discussion

Expect mostly cloudy skies on Friday along with a chance of light, scattered snow showers. Overnight lows in the mountains will be around 10 degrees before rising to near 20 during the day. Ridgetop winds will be out of the west to northwest at 15 to 25 miles per hour. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW on Friday. Mostly stable snow exists and avalanches are unlikely except in very steep avalanche starting zones above 9,000 feet where west to northwest winds may begin to form isolated pockets of shallow wind slab.
