In sintesi

At the mid and upper elevations dense and hard slabs up to five feet in depth persist on steep wind loaded aspects. These slabs lie upon a slick crust and the possibility continues for backcountry users to trigger their release in avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. At low elevations avalanches are unlikely in the early morning hours but warming and sun will increase the avalanche hazard as the chance for wet loose and wet slab avalanches develops. Wet slide activity could also occur at the mid and upper elevations if rapid warming occurs particularly on sunlit slopes. Recent avalanche activity reported on Friday includes a two foot hard slab near Mt Hunt at 9800' and slide on Mt. Taylor on Teton Pass.
