Forecast Snow Stability: The thawing snowpack will be limited, patchy and stable throughout, refreezing at highest summit levels. Largest snow patches will linger on steep North to East aspects above 750 metres. A dusting of fresh summit snow is possible through the day, but will not be significant. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Overnight rain will ease early morning, with a little summit sleet and snow possible as the freezing level lowers to around 950 metres by dawn. The wind will be a moderate Southerly overnight, veering South-West and freshening through the day. Observed Weather Influences: Cloudy, summit fog with patchy light rain and drizzle. Brighter in the afternoon. Mild; freezing level well above the summits. Freshening Southerly wind. ObservedSnowStability: Very limited patchy snow cover, thawing and stable at all elevations. Most snow lingers on steep North to East aspects above 750 metres. Most terrain is bare. The avalanche hazard is Low.
