Inverted conditions developed overnight with mountain temperatures starting out 10 to 15 degrees warmer than the valleys. Above 9,000 feet, skiers and riders might be able to trigger an isolated pocket of slab one to two feet deep in very steep, avalanche prone terrain that held snow from October. Mostly stable snow exists below 9,000 feet, and slab avalanches are unlikely. Shallow, wet loose sloughs might become possible in the afternoon on steep, southerly aspects if skies remain mostly clear throughout the day. Early season conditions exist in many areas, and normal caution is advised.

Expect mostly clear skies overnight before cloud cover begins to increase in the morning hours. During the day, a weak disturbance could bring some light snowfall to the region. Overnight lows in the mountains will be in the low teens before climbing to near 20 in the afternoon. Southwesterly ridgetop winds will veer to the northwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour.The general avalanche hazard is expected to remain Low on Monday.
