Moist and wet avalanches are the main danger.

On sunny slopes an unfavourable avalanche situation will prevail.

Snowpack Structure

The solar radiation will give rise in the late morning to increasing moistening of the snowpack in all aspects. Weak layers exist in the old snowpack in particular on very steep shady slopes.

Tendency

The old snowpack remains generally favourable.
