Avalanche Activity

The new snow and wind slabs of Monday are bonding quite well with the old snowpack in all aspects.

As a consequence of snowfall above approximately 1800 m and the moderate to strong wind, fresh snow drift accumulations will form.

Snowpack Structure

The new snow is bonding quite well with the old snowpack in all aspects above approximately 2000 m. Individual weak layers exist in the old snowpack especially on shady slopes.
