In sintesi

The avalanche danger is Low today. Natural and human-triggered avalanches are unlikely. Recently formed pockets of shallow wind slab may exist on isolated ridge-top areas but they are likely to be stubborn to triggering. Continue to practice safe travel techniques such as traveling one at a time on steep slopes or runout zones and carrying avalanche rescue gear.

Avalanche Discussion

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Skies will be clear again tonight with temperatures dropping to the negative single digits. Wind will relax a notch to ten to fifteen mph and shift to the north before backing to the south and diminishing further tomorrow. Once again, expect more sunshine and temperatures in the teens in the mountains though skies may become partly cloudy as a short wave passes to the east. Avalanche danger will remain Low tomorrow at all elevations and forecast areas. The persistent slab which recently became dormant is very unlikely to be triggered. You may encounter some shallow wind slabs as well though they are likely to be stubborn in higher elevation areas.
