We released 2 shallow wind slabs as we made our way along the Reed and Benson ridgeline from Flagstaff, where the rocks force you off the ridge and onto the slope. One of them released as a more cohesive chunk and ran 300' or so, sifting through a few trees and depositing snow on the uphill side (pictured). The slopes needed to be above 35 degrees to release. Marking this as expected but not exactly intentional.

Snow at the bottom of the drainages skied the best. This was our second attempt at a tour today, after realizing the south facing chutes of LCC were devoid of fresh snow.
