Quick report
Arrived on the ravine floor at 3:15 to find deep debris and flattened trees extending downslope of the cache. Clouds had lifted high enough to show crown lines across the headwall, with only Sluice, Right Gully, and Lobster Claw not contributing to debris on the ravine floor. Right Gully showed some sliding near the top of the line. Debris was deep enough to cover typically visible trees and boulders on the ravine floor, as well as the connection cache. Subsequently toured to the base of Main Gully in Gulf of Slides, arriving at 5:15. No avalanches were observed in Main Gully or in the available partial views of other gullies, and tracks from yesterday and this morning were still fresh and uncovered. No wind at the base of the slide. Eight inches of non-cohesive new snow sat atop a pencil hard icy crust.
